Hello
Is this sailboat still for sale?
Looks great.
Do you have information on your rigging, especially the standing rigging.
When it was last inspected and results.
6' draft is on the high side, but might work for me.
Thanks.

EDIT

Read your BLOG/WEBSITE, cool story!! To bad you are selling your sailboat.
Maybe it aligns and continues with mine ;)

Also, the running rigging is in great shape. I had her rigged for single handing when I bought her. Also The two main winches were recently completely overhauled and greased.

Great to hear the running rigging is a+ and single handling set up.
How do you feel about the Mast and shrouds and chain plates; the standing rigging?

What would you recommend be the next 3 fun updates/ changes in the next year?

What would you recommend be the next serious/maintenance updates/ changes in the next 2 years?

Thanks!

Hello,

Did you have any other questions regarding my CAL39? Would a price of $27,000 make it more appealing to you given the answers that I gave to your questions?

Regards

Not sure if you saw my questions.
What is the status of the standing rigging, last changed, or inspected or tuned.
How is the Mast?

Hello Mary,

Did see your questions and responded but it appears that when I then added another post with additional information the second response stepped on my original response, sorry about that.

This is my response to your questions:

What is the status of the standing rigging, last changed, or inspected or tuned. Standing rigging was last inspected 12/21 right after I purchased the boat. Found to be in good condition, including the mast but lower shroud, port side aft plus associated chain plate should be replaced. I've not had the opportunity to do so.

How is the Mast? Mast could use some paint but otherwise in very good condition.

What would you recommend be the next 3 fun updates/ changes in the next year? Determine why Wind Turbine isnt charging. Complete replacement of Port Lights. I began replacing fixed lights on starboard side with units from original manufacturer. Port should be done as well as opening port lights. Perhaps add new headliner if that's important to you (I had to strip it all out and paint the ceiling since I've had it).

What would you recommend be the next serious/maintenance updates/ changes in the next 2 years? The bottom will need to be done again in about two years. Check steering linkage (operates really well but should be professionally checked). Paint cabin top.

Please let me know if you have further questions and sorry about the earlier snafu.

Great info , Thanks.

I should be in Miami in October.

I'll contact you then in case the boat is still avialable. Looks great especially for its age; great lines.

Hi Mary,

Unfortunately, I'll be leaving the country on 8/27 for good. Pity you're not able to visit before then.

I tried replying via a private message but it stayed as a draft message jajaja..
I will try and sending you a private message again and with my phone number.

Hello

If anything chages I will surely contact you.
I was slighly worried about the semi long/ semi short keel. It is 5'6" right? I have seen the listing for your boat and see it listed with different dimensions.

How soon does the shroud/ chain plate you mention have to be replaced? can it be sailed?

Thanks
